As art director at Nikkei Asia Review, I played a leading role through a number of redesigns, both in print and digital.
Following Nikkei's purchase of the U.K.'s Financial Times, the department has seen rapid change and expansion. Switching to a "digital first" approach, allowed us to focus our resources on producing quality web content, including improved photos, data visualization and cover story design.
